A technique that our Physical and Occupational Therapists use regularly is Graston Therapy. This technique helps restore range of motion, eliminate pain, and restore normal function, and allow for a faster rehabilitation. People who benefit most from this type of therapy are those who are experiencing acute, chronic, or post-surgical pain. Some conditions we treat with Graston Therapy include hamstring injuries, knee pain, shoulder pain, wrist pain, etc. Graston Therapy works by breaking down scar tissue and decreasing the inflammation associated with most conditions. Next time you are in for therapy, be sure to ask about the benefits of Graston Therapy and if it is a good option for you!
