Antonia J. Abrahamsen, MSN, FNP-C

Antonia (AJ) is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing (M.S.N) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) degrees from Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing in Peoria, IL. She also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) in Fine Art Photography from Millikin University. As a Nurse Practitioner she has been practicing in the Emergency department at Saint Joseph Medical Center since 2016. AJ has a broad range of previous nursing experience that includes the operating room, women’s health, public health, and outpatient care.
As a nurse practitioner AJ performs comprehensive exams, evaluations, and administers injections. Her goal is to support patients in reaching their healthcare goals while building lasting relationships that reach beyond the medical office.
AJ and her husband have three children and reside in Normal. They enjoy spending time outside and being active together, often associated with a busy schedule of school and activities for kids. AJ likes to travel, spend time with friends and family and in her free time she enjoys photography and other creative projects she can accomplish.
